Brooke Discusses Tour And Fundraising Campaign
Great new article about Brooke – here’s an excerpt:
Now White is on tour with the rest of the top 10 finalists on “American Idols LIVE! Tour 2008.” Prior to the Ft. Lauderdale show on Wednesday, White sat down with CNS and spoke about her recently released album, her “Save The World Summer” fundraising campaign and, of course, the tour.
“We’ve been out for, gosh, since July 1st. I have no idea what today is,” she says. “But I think it’s been over a month and a half now. We have 18 shows left after tonight.”
White describes the tour as “a great learning experience and a lot of fun,” but she adds that it has been “exhausting at the same time.”
“It’s just hard to believe. Part of me is like, ‘Gosh! I can’t believe we’re already way over halfway through already.’ And then part of me is like, ‘Yeah, it seems like we’ve been out here forever,’ you know?”
It also gives insight as to Brooke’s plans after the show – as of now, she is looking to get a deal. :)
American Idol’s newest judge loves Brooke!
I’m sure everyone’s heard about the talented Kara DioGuardi becoming the newest Idol judge. Here’s what she had to say about Brooke in a recent interview:
-Her favorite Idol to work with was Kelly Clarkson. (Cool beans!) She produced Kelly’s hit “Walk Away.” Of the contestants last season, she liked Brooke White the most. “She looked like an artist, felt like an artist, had an interesting tone.”
Hopefully Kara will write some songs with Brooke soon!! I LOVE Kara DioGuardi! :)

ELIZA MAGAZINE…

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having the happiest Friday of their lives,if not…shoot for next Friday! Just wanted to update y’all about something kinda fun, I just received this photo of my first magazine cover, from the editor of Eliza Magazine! She said it was completely cool to put it up here on myspace before it releases as next month’s Fall Issue. Eliza Magazine is a gorgeous magazine dedicated to modest high fashion as well as other interesting and relevant topics, I love it because it is SO classy. As you can imagine I was so excited when they asked me to be apart of the Fall Issue, I had a great experience on the shoot… the clothes were very fall-ish…lovely and feminine, the photographer (Angela Pierce) is amazing, and then I just recently caught up with Gretta for the interview while I’ve been on the road. Oh and by the way, not sure where it started but somehow word got out that I was under the weather, a week or so ago I was feeling a bit frazzled as that often happens on tour, but for the record I am healthy as a horse (ummm…that is a “saying” right? Where did that come from btw? Clearly horses are the picture of perfect health?!LOL… If by chance I came up with this out of nowhere, I’m sorry, but you get me, right?! You know though, thank you for your concern… you’re all a bunch of sweeties!
