Brooke to host TV Guide Network’s “American Idol” Finale Week Celebration
American Idol alums Justin Guarini (Idol season one runner-up) and Brooke White (Idol season seven top-five finalist) have signed on to host TV Guide Network’s Idol celebration for three consecutive nights of televised coverage dedicated to the highly-anticipated Season 9 finale. The programming line-up includes “Idol: Countdown to the Winner” premiering Tuesday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, the two-hour live finale Red Carpet special “Idol: Live at the Finale” premiering Wednesday, May 26 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET/PT and “Red Vines Presents TV Guide’s Idol After-Party Special” premieres Thursday, May 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

Brooke’s “Idol Confessions”
By sheer coincidence, season 7’s Brooke White stopped by the L.A. Times video studio on the two-year anniversary of her own “American Idol” elimination! But this eternally bubbly Arizona native, who currently calls the San Fernando Valley home, isn’t crying over spilled milk. To the contrary, in White World, there’s a plus side to everything: false starts, weird dance moves, coming in fifth to the very deserving David Cook.
